 “I might say my background is one of taking opportunities and turning them into a reality”

 As the novice member of the Europe Out There Team, my journey to in Latvia has just begun. After leaving school early, I took the first of many opportunities to be presented to me in life . At the age of 19 I found myself running my own sales business in the UK and saw early on that being my own boss was something I could get used to. However after a few years I started to get itchy feet and my heart and mind started wondering what else was out there for me…..

 
It just so happened that a certain lovely lady in my life was from a land far, far away known as Latvia, and my first visit here in  2008 left a lasting impression that I soon found impossible to ignore. Something about life in The UK did not feel the same after that trip to Riga and I did some serious soul searching before deciding to try my luck in greener pastures. 

 I met Austin in London after applying for a General Managers position with Europe Out There. We saw eye to eye in more ways than one and I was offered 3 months of work over the summer season. At the time I could never imagine what I was in for….Blazing hot,17 hour days on the “Baltic Rivieras China white sands”, crisp amber Autumn evenings with a frothy ale in hand  and now a sub zero winter wonderland at my doorstep. And the Journey has only just begun…… 
 
The ability to network and use The Europe Out There teams bottomless barrel of resources that has made this adventure so exciting for me.  I have taken a particular interest in developing Europe Out There in to a Leading Sports Tour company. That barrel of resources has led to close ties with the leading sporting federations in the Baltics and presented the opportunity to secure a role in the growth of Sport in Eastern Europe.
 
 I take it upon myself to share a little piece of my experiences here over the last 6 months with every-one of our clients.  It’s the fact that the entire Europe Out There team shares my desire to do so that makes this a win, win for every-one!!! I look forward to helping you experience it, because I can certainly say that I believe it!!!
