The Story of the Travel Out There TiPi.
Travel Out There’s 3 T’s represent what we do: Corporate Travel, Team Building and Training and our 3 P’s represent how we do it – the key qualities every local partners must possess to work with us: personal, professional and passionate. Combination or 3 T's and 3 P's created our very own TiPi.
According to Rudolf Koch’s 'Book of Signs', the symbol is intended to symbolise a person who possesses both confidence and competence.
Led Zeppelin Bassist, John Paul Jones’ chose the symbol for the album cover for Led Zeppelin IV. (Our CEO's favourite band and album of all time).
Our network of competence is your confidence.
The shape of the symbol is similar to that of its namesake - the conical tent used by Native Americans. The tipi is durable, provides warmth and comfort in winter, is cool in the heat of summer, and is dry during heavy rains. Tipi's could be disassembled and packed away quickly when a tribe decided to move and could be reconstructed quickly upon settling in a new area.
The best companies are those who can manage the opportunities and threats bought about my change as effectively and efficiently as possible.
It Is Not the Strongest of the Species that Survives But the Most Adaptable. Charles Darwin
The symbol is used in many of the window arches in the Sagrada Familla cathedral. Astonished, by not only the magnificence of the building, but also the perseverance and magnitude of the renovation project itself. Austin considers the Travel Out There project to be a bit of a ‘sagrada famille’; a project that will never be complete. He believes that never becoming complacent and always innovating to improve value should be a mantra for any business.
Finally, why did we make the TiPi blue?
There were 2 key reasons on the colour selection. After extensive research on logo design (click here and you can see a great infographic on the emotional pull of logos). Blue is supposedly associated with understanding, clarity, confident, calm and trust. These are very align closely with our core values.
The second reason is the influence of Blue Ocean Strategy to our business development. Blue ocean strategy is the simultaneous pursuit of differentiation and low cost to open up a new market space and create new demand. The symbol being blue is a constant reminder that we will continue to work with such a mindset when directly connecting clients with our partners.
We hope you like our new TiPi and in future it will be recognised as symbol that represents our key values of trust and respect. giving you confidence of a competent service level you expect.
